Vita

Born in 1945 in Zollikon (ZH), Switzerland

Jungian Analyst

After having been a primary school teacher for around 3 years and some longer sojourns abroad, I graduated in European Ethnology and History of Religion. The choice of these topics aimed at my later studies at the C.G. Jung Institute in Zurich.

My thesis at the C. G. Jung Institute was a psychological-ethnological research on the figure of “St. Antonius Eremita with the Pig”, which I started accompanied by M.-L. von Franz (first published in 1983). She was C. G. Jung's most competent pupil and coworker, who continued his works. The relationship with this great personality has influenced essentially my life.

2000 “Dream Child”, a cooperation work under the guidance of M.-L. von Franz was published. With a collection of around 700 dreams this has kept us busy for almost 7 years. Later lectures had the following topics: “Introduction into Fairy Tale Interpretation”, “Animals in Dreams”, “Creation Motifs in Dreams”, “Das eingesperrte Wilde” and some fairytale interpretations.

Anker für nach ganz oben, Regina Abt C.G.Jund und Marie Luise von Franz

I have two grown up daughters and four grandsons and I live with my animals in the countryside, where I also have my praxis as an analyst. My husband Theodor Abt, who is running a private publishing house, is responsible for the printing and publishing of my books, for which I owe him my greatest gratitude.
